چکیده
In the frame of increasing need nutrient recovery and recycling objective was to fractionate concentrate nutrients from nitrified, ultra-filtered ultraviolet C treated UASB effluent with anion selectrodialysis (aSED). Under these conditions it possible keep system in operation for 14 days or even 3 weeks intermittent cleaning place every week. When membranes developed sulphuric acid production (PC-Acid 100 OT) were used as exchange (AE membranes) instead standard AE (PC-SA) a 4.5 times higher current efficiency phosphate transport noted. simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Evaluation of Membrane Processes for Reducing Total Dissolved Solids Discharged to the Truckee River
Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility TMWRF is a 150,000 m3/day 40 mgd tertiary wastewater treatment facility that serves the cities of Reno and Sparks, Nev. The effluent from TMWRF is discharged into the Truckee River which flows to Pyramid Lake—a very sensitive ecosystem and habitat for endangered species. Reverse osmosis RO and nanofiltration NF , in conjunction with ultrafiltration UF ...
متن کاملBoiler-Feed and Process Water Reclamation from Biotreated Palm Oil Mill Effluent (BPOME): A Developmental Review
Population growth, urbanization, and industrialization contribute to water shortages by perpetually pushing up demand. Interestingly, these same factors increase water pollution, lead to higher costs in potable water treatment, and pose adverse health effects. It has been projected that by 2020, more than half the total population of Asia, Africa, and Latin America will be living in cities, and...
متن کاملUltrafiltration membrane bioreactor for urban wastewater reclamation
A 162-day pilot-scale operation for reclamation of urban wastewater was studied by using an ultrafiltration membrane bioreactor (UMBR). Performance of the UMBR was investigated with a sludge retention time (SRT) of 5, 15, and 30 days, a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 5 h, and membrane flux between 75 and 150 l m−2 h−1, respectively. It was observed that the highest sludge concentration in th...
